TERMS & CONDITIONS

Thank you for using our services for your bakery needs. We take pride in the quality of our food and services. To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, we provide below the terms and conditions governing the relationship between us, [Hans / Hanis Bakery, “we”, “us”] and you, our esteemed customer (“Customer”, “you”, “your”).

Note: Working days and timings for contacting us. (Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm excluding eve of public holidays and public holidays

ORDERING

a. You may place your orders through our web services. In placing your order, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below which may be amended from time to time without notice to you.

b. When placing your order, please provide full details of your name and contact number, the date when you wish that the food be delivered (“event date”), delivery address, number of guests and your food selection accurately. Any wrong information will be liable on the customer end.

c. We will provide you with a formal acknowledgement of your order immediately after the conformation of your order. If you do not receive a formal acknowledgement, please contact our catering department at email: Catering@hans.com.sg or call us at 67086738 as we may not have received your order or the information provided is insufficient to act upon.

d. Please place your orders at least 3 days before your required delivery date. For shorter notice periods, please contact us at email: Catering@hans.com.sg or call us at 67086738. We will endeavour to meet your needs however Hans / Hanis Bakery reserves the right to decline your order or additional charges may also apply for short notices.

 

e. For special requests on cake designs such as for drawings or unconventional shapes, and requests for large quantity orders of 20 or more cakes or for orders $1,000 or more, please call Hans office at 67086738  or email Catering@hans.com.sg from Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm for assistance.

 

PAYMENT

a. All prices on our menus are inclusive of GST.

b. For Customers who places an order well in advance, must note that there may be an increase in prices due to unforeseen changes in market conditions at the time of your delivery. We will inform you of the increase prices the soonest after we are informed. We will require a written confirmation through email that you acknowledge and agree to pay for the increased prices. Alternatively, Hans / Hanis Bakery reserves the rights at our own option in such event to make reasonable substitutions on our cakes or items without prior notice given.

c. Full payment must be made upon confirmation of order through our website for buffet order.

 

QUALITY

a. We take pride in the hygiene, quality and freshness of our cakes. Our process and delivery takes into account delivery time and an additional 2 hours for the cake to be consumed.

b. Cakes must be consumed within 2 hours from the time of delivery.

c. We will not guarantee the quality of the cake/s after 2 hours from the stated time of delivery.

d. cake designs are subject to slight variations and availability of decorative accessories.

DELIVERY

a. We will strive to arrive within an hour of the requested timing. Delays may be caused by accidents, traffic conditions which are beyond our control. Whilst we regret any inconvenience or embarrassment to you, you are still liable to pay for your order even if you decline to accept delivery.

b. Additional $50 charge will be imposed for delivery before 9.00am.

d. Transportation fee of $40 ($42.80 w/GST) per trip (Free for orders above S$300 per trip)

e.  Delivery service is only available within Singapore. Excluding the following location; Jurong Island checkpoint, Jurong Island, Sentosa Island and Pulau Ubin.

f. There may be additional surcharges for deliveries during festive periods such as eve of Valentine's Day, Valentine's Day, eve of Christmas, Christmas Day, eve of Chinese New Year, Chinese New Year, eve of Mother's Day, Mother's Day, etc.

g. Delivery service is available from 12.00pm noon to 6.00pm daily, including Sundays and Public Holidays.

h. In the event that there is no one to receive the cake at the delivery destination, the cake will be sent to the nearest available Hans / Hanis outlet for self-collection. Self-collection has to be done on the same day of delivery before 8 pm. An additional delivery fee of $12 would be incurred for requests to re-deliver the cake. No request for refund will be entertained due to the perishable nature of our products. 

i. Cakes must be checked and shall be deemed accepted if no errors/ discrepancies are raised immediately upon delivery or collection. Hans / Hanis reserves the right not to entertain any further complaints thereafter. Refusal of any item by the recipient will still be considered as order delivered and no refund will be made.

 

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

a. Any changes to the order after the confirmation of an order must be done at least 3 days before the delivery date, we will try to accommodate your requests but we reserve the right not to accept any changes. We regret that we cannot make any changes if the request is made less than 3 days. Changes can be done by contacting us at email: Catering@hans.com.sg or call us at 67086738. An email confirmation must be given before changes are deemed confirmed.

b. Cancellations must be made in writing through email to Catering@hans.com.sg at least 7 working days before the event date. We will not entertain phone cancellations.

c. A full refund will be made with Hans or Hanis vouchers if a cancellation is made at least 7 days before the event. If a cancellation is made less than 7 days but no less than 5 days before the event, we will refund only 50% of the amount paid for the confirmed order in Hans or Hanis voucher. No refund will be provided for any cancellation made less than 5 days from event date.

d. Requests for any changes to Standard/Classic Cake designs are not allowed.

 

FORCE MAJEURE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITIES

a. Neither parties shall be responsible for failure to perform this contract if circumstances beyond their control, including, but not limited to; acts of God, shortage of commodities or supplies to be furnished by us, governmental authority, or war or riots or civil unrest.

b. Our total liability including our employees, for all losses, damages, costs, and expenses, including legal fees, shall not exceed the aggregate amount paid to us under this Agreement, regardless of the legal theory under which such liability is imposed.

c. Should any of the clauses in this terms and conditions be held to be unenforceable, the Parties agree that the said clause will be amended or limited to the extent which will give maximum effect to the intention of the clause allowed by law.
